Robin Healthcare is an AI-empowered healthcare partner that combines the power of artificial intelligence (AI), voice recognition, virtual medical scribes, and care coordinators to solve healthcare’s biggest challenges and inefficiencies. Robin Healthcare was founded in 2017 by Noah Auerhahn and Emilo Galan. [1] Robin has raised more than $20m from Social Leverage, Norwest Venture Partners, and others. The company recently closed a $3m venture debt facility from Signature Bank and has grown 7x in the last 6 months.
Based in Berkeley, CA, and led by a team of repeat founders (e.g., Extrabux, Essia Health), Robin Healthcare combines the deep clinical knowledge and technical expertise required to capture medicine’s complexity, ensure the highest quality for patient care, and offer an affordable clinical documentation solution for every doctor. Robin’s leadership team has clinical training at the University of California (UC), San Francisco (UCSF) and UC, Los Angeles (UCLA); informatics and machine learning experience; and, natural language processing training at UC, Berkeley. Robin has assembled a world-class team of clinical, artificial intelligence, and medical scribe industry experts to make the practice of medicine more human-centered. [2]
I invested in the founder shares of Robin in 2017 because I knew Noah from helping him with his first business, Extrabux which we sold to eBates. I have served as Fractional CFO at Robin since early 2020 where we have implemented BrightZen’s CFO System.
With Robin in the room, doctors can spend more time checking in with patients, and less time checking boxes. Doctors who use Robin reduce their risk of practicing in today’s complex healthcare system and save an average of 90 minutes, for little to no net cost.
